October 23, 2008 - Marben Products at MPLS2008: Isocore Interop testing For the first time in Fall 2008, GMPLS controlled Ethernet Label Switching has been introduced in the LEC interoperability testing. Ethernet has been dominant in the enterprise and data network for a long time. Wide-scale MAN and WAN deployments is made possible with the Provider Backbone Bridge (PBB) and the new IEEE 802.1Qay Provider Backbone Bridge – Traffic Engineering (PBB-TE) amendments of the Ethernet bridging standard. Operators are considering the use of PBB-TE connection oriented Ethernet in access and aggregation networks. It seems a natural step to use GMPLS to provision and reconfigure PBB-TE connections in Ethernet networks. Marben Products once again successfully participated in the Isocore interop testing around next generation Carrier Grade Ethernet. This event took place in the Isocore Lab October 23, 2008 in front of major equipment vendors. Marben Products successfully created LSPs through different network elements. All combinations of initiating and terminating nodes were used to successfully create bidirectional LSPs. The new Ethernet Traffic Parameter SENDER_TSPEC object was used to specify distinct bandwidth requirements for multiple CoS and OAM parameters were signalled in LSP_ATTRIBUTES object of some of the PATH messages. Full path rerouting was even demonstrated by simulating data plane failure on the egress node. For more information, please refer to Results of MPLS2008 Public Interoperability Demo and Ericsson in next generation Ethernet live demo, Washington papers. June 2008 - MARBEN™ OSIAM-GMPLS v3.3 is now released Marben Products unveils MARBEN™ OSIAM-GMPLS v3.3, a new minor release of its acknowledged networking protocols suite. Control plane features are now on the field, with successful new services and major interop references. The new v1.1 release offers new powerful features such as:

June 5-6, 2008 - iPOP2008 : Tokyo, Japan Marben Products will be at iPOP2008 in Tokyo presenting its latest enhancements of its MARBEN™ GMPLS protocols software stack and its advanced MARBEN™ PCE protocol implementation. Marben Products will highlight its recent works on PCE for Carrier grade Ethernet and WSON and will present its advanced solution for PointToMultiPoint path computation in the PCE architecture in combination with Aria Networks. February 2008 - MARBEN™ PCE v1.0 is now released Marben Products unveils the first commercial software implementation of Path Computation Element communication protocol (PCECP). PCE protocol is standardized at IETF. PCE architecture solves many issues as using multi constraints complex path computation algorithms, global concurrency optimization or inter-domain routing. This PCE reliable implementation enables a quick and interoperable implementation of a PCE server or PCC functions in any MSxP equipment. It saves your time to develop differentiating features. Based on our MPLS/GMPLS offer, MARBEN™ PCE is either a standalone product or just an additional brick inside your MARBEN™ GMPLS suite. Traffic Engineering protocols and database and Path computation library could also be provided to help you to build the PCE you want for your network. To discover all the capabilities and features of the MARBEN™ PCE, please browse the PCE datasheet or ask for technical documents at sales@marben-products.com. February 11-14, 2008 - Marben Products at Mobile World Congress 2008 - Barcelona Marben Products will be present at the Mobile World Congress, the world premier trade show for mobile and NGN industry, taking place 11-14 February 2008 in Barcelona. Marben Products will show off MARBEN™ Diameter its flagship AAA solution for 3G-4G Mobile Networks, NGN and IP Multimedia Subsystem. MARBEN™ Diameter is the solution for quickly integrating Charging and Authentication in your IMS equipments or applications and thus rapidly enter the booming IMS market. Marben Products will also demonstrate its MARBEN™ ASN.1 Value Editor which allows easy and graphical visualization and edition of any ASN.1 data values. MARBEN™ASN.1 Value Editor is a companion tool of choice for developers that have to deal with ASN.1 encoded data or OSS/BSS people handling large amount of data specified in ASN.1 like TAP3 roaming, CDRs files.
