Marben has designed a true GMPLS based MPLS-TP control plane. This contol plane is conformant with the regular control plane used for many years now in MPLS domain based on RSVP-TE and Traffic Engineering database but also compatible with MPLS-TP requirements. The MARBEN implementation is the sole implementation capable to handle all the recovery scenario that is required for MPLS-TP and keep it simple to provide the regular MPLS scenario. Equipment vendor can protect their investment in a long term relationship.
